Burger King is an american global chain of fast food restaurants, founded in 1953.

The chain has more than 13 000 restaurants in 88 countries all over the world, reaching the second place in the worldwide ranking

In 1980, Burger King opens a 1st restaurant in France, avenue des Champs-Elysées. 39 restaurants will open in France, but the whole chain ceased its activities in 1997, due to a low profitability.

In 2014, the brand comes back in France. Many people were impatient to enjoy these new restaurants, and this impatience led to angry reactions on the social media, more particularly on Twitter.

The brand has chosen Buzzman, an advertising agency whose skills are based on viral marketing, creativity and entertainment, to imagine a campaign to promote the opening of new restaurants in France.

I’ve chosen to study 4 examples of different operations of the campaign : Angry Tweets, The no-like battle, the Fast Pass App and The last comment wins I’ve been very interested in Buzzman’s statement to use the codes of the Internet on a funny and ironic way.
